Floyd Gene Buesking

Floyd Gene Buesking, 85, of Burkburnett, Texas died Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Sugar Land, Texas.  Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Burkburnett with Gary Simmons officiating.  Interment will follow at Burkburnett Memorial Cemeteryunder direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Burkburnett.

Visitation will be Friday, April 13, 2012 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Floyd was born in Strasburg, Illinois, Feb. 26, 1927 to Martin and Bessie (Spannagel) Buesking.  He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. After retiring from the Air Force he settled in Burkburnett where he was active at Grace Lutheran Church.  He liked playing cards and spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Buesking.

He is survived by his daughters, Sheryl Rumple and her husband Guy, of Sugar Land, Texas, and Genie Hubert and her husband Dave of Tucson, Arizona; a brother, and a sister; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
